What is Marinade Finance?
Marinade is a permissionless, self-custodial liquid staking platform built on Solana. Users deposit SOL and can opt for either mSOL liquid staking, which provides a tradable token representing staked SOL, or native staking, where SOL remains in user-controlled stake accounts under optimized delegation—either way, rewards are compounded each epoch.
Shares are distributed across a carefully selected set of high-performance validators via the Stake Auction Marketplace (SAM), maximizing yield, supporting decentralization, and capturing MEV rewards through Jito integration. Soundness is strengthened with Protected Staking Rewards, which ensure compensation if validator performance drops or commissions change.
Governed by the Marinade DAO, holders of MNDE (and veMNDE) shape delegation strategies, fee rates, and protocol upgrades—all in a fully decentralized setup via Realms on Solana.
