What is Jito Network?

Jito Network is a high-performance Solana protocol combining liquid staking with MEV capture to enhance validator yield and network efficiency. Users can stake SOL in the Jito Stake Pool to mint JitoSOL, a liquid staking token that accrues both standard staking rewards and MEV-based income generated by Jito's validator infrastructure.

At its core, Jito operates a modified validator client (Jito-Solana) that integrates a block-engine and relayer capable of executing fast transaction bundles, offering atomic execution, MEV protection, and priority tips for high-frequency traders and dApps.

Jito features StakeNet, a decentralized stake pool manager combining validator history and steward-driven auto-delegation to optimize performance and decentralization. Governance is performed through the JTO token and DAO mechanisms, operated under a formal foundation constitution with on-chain proposals and Realms voting.

By aligning incentives, bundling infrastructure, and liquid staking, Jito transforms Solana’s validator ecosystem into a performance-optimized, transparent, and composable staking and execution layer.
