Extended Exchange

What is Extended Exchange?

Extended Exchange is a decentralized perpetuals trading platform built on Arbitrum. It enables users to trade a wide range of markets, including cryptocurrencies, commodities, and forex – with up to 50x leverage, all from self-custodied wallets. The protocol combines CEX-level performance with DeFi trustlessness by using a hybrid infrastructure: off-chain order matching paired with on-chain settlement.

Traders can access isolated and cross-margin positions, real-time PnL tracking, and multiple order types (limit, market, stop) with minimal latency. The matching engine is optimized for speed and fairness, while final settlement occurs on-chain for transparency and custody control.

Extended supports USD-pegged margining using bridged stablecoins like USDC on Arbitrum. The platform’s vault and points systems incentivize active participation, with airdrop eligibility tied to trading activity and vault contributions. Extended also emphasizes gasless interactions and performance-optimized trading tools that rival centralized exchanges.

By targeting real-world asset markets like forex and commodities, alongside crypto, Extended is building a globally accessible, high-leverage venue that blurs the line between traditional and decentralized finance.
