Security Features: Keevo uses a dual-chip architecture, including two triple-core secure processors certified to CC EAL5+. This ensures that private keys and transaction data are securely isolated within the device. Keevo introduces a patent-pending multi-factor/multi-signature authentication (MF/MSA) system, requiring three out of four authentication factors (such as PIN, biometric data, and the Keevo Carbon Key™) to authorize transactions. Carbon Key™ and Paperless Recovery: The Keevo Carbon Key™ is a key component of Keevo's security system, enabling secure, seedless recovery of wallets. The Carbon Key™ stores an encrypted portion of the user's private keys, which can only be decrypted with the user's biometric data and PIN. This setup allows for a paperless recovery process, addressing the inconvenience and insecurity of paper seed phrases.
Trustless Inheritance: Keevo offers a unique trustless inheritance feature, allowing users to securely transfer their digital assets to beneficiaries. By storing encrypted biometric and password data on the Carbon Key™, Keevo ensures that only the designated beneficiary, verified through a government-issued death certificate, can access and transfer the assets. Keevo partners with Iron Mountain to provide secure storage for Carbon Keys™ and encrypted information, enhancing the reliability and confidentiality of the inheritance process.
